For more than a decade, C4V has worked at the frontier of battery materials science. Digital DNA™ is what that research became — a way to make every battery safer, longer-lasting and cheaper to own.

Our Journey

Over a decade of deep science

Digital DNA™ didn't appear overnight. It's the result of years of patient research, data engineering and AI development.

  1. 2012 — 2016

    Foundational materials research

    C4V begins deep research into battery materials, building proprietary datasets across many chemistries and failure modes.

  2. 2015 — 2016

    The genomics idea is born

    A breakthrough realisation: every battery material has a measurable "fingerprint" — and those fingerprints can predict how a battery will behave.

  3. 2017 — 2019

    Architecture & industry mapping

    The full supply chain is mapped from mine to end use. The core Genomic Thread™ architecture takes shape, and first industry partnerships form.

  4. 2020 — 2022

    AI models built & validated

    Prediction models are trained on genomic data and tested against real-world field results. The first pilot customers go live.

  5. 2023 — 2024

    Commercial scale-up

    The platform expands to gigafactory, EV and grid-storage customers, integrating with their existing factory and battery systems.

  6. 2026 →

    A global intelligence network

    Digital DNA™ grows into a worldwide, continuously learning network — improving every battery it sees.
